
Interior Designer
The ideal individual should be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities across a diverse range of projects with an eye for detail and a passion for excellence. You must be a problem-solver and an ambitious self-starter willing to take initiative. A love of design, music, art, travel, literature, hand-crafted cocktails, and dogs a must.

What You'll Do
This candidate should be able to collaborate seamlessly with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans on multiple projects.
You will be responsible for supporting the process on material and furniture sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines.
Additional responsibilities

Conceptual sketching or 3D drawing to bring to life the design teams’ creative vision

Taking measurements on site and producing floor plans and site elevations in AutoCAD

Gathering detailed information and quotes for preparation of accurate design proposals to clients

Developing long-term relationships with clients, design showrooms, and vendors.
Minimum Requirements

Three to four years of full‐time experience working on residential and commercial projects in an Interior Design firm

A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related creative field

Excellent 2D drawing and/or rendering ability

Proficiency in AutoCAD. Sketch-Up or 3D/rendering skills a plus

Working knowledge of project management software (we use Ivy)

Strong creative design portfolio as well as strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and multi-tasking skills a must

Reliable car and valid driver’s license

Own a computer

Must live in or near Los Angeles to accommodate project sites and local vendors
Hours & Pay

This is a contract position to start, but the goal is to transition the role into a fulltime employee with paid leave, health insurance and benefits.

40+ hours/week. $75,000 - 85,000 based on experience
