CAVIAR KASPIA
Night Palm designed the communal lounge for Caviar Kaspia’s Los Angeles restaurant on Melrose Avenue. THE DESIGN STORY
Night Palm translated the spirit of the celebrated Paris restaurant into a distinctly Los Angeles setting. The communal lounge needed to acknowledge the original location near the Place de la Madeleine without feeling like a replica. Instead, the studio imagined a cinematic meeting point between Parisian ritual and Hollywood after dark.
The atmosphere draws on the social glamour of The Great Gatsby, the dreamlike melancholy of The Virgin Suicides and the charged elegance of a Helmut Newton photograph.
