Siri France is an artist from the UK based in Silver Lake California, who works on paintings, drawings, and collage. Her work has been shown in the UK, the USA and Russia and is in numerous private collections.

Born in Brighton, (UK) she grew up in Southern England and in Scotland. Her BA Hons degree in Fine Art came from Newcastle Polytechnic and included a year of study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Although Siri has travelled and lived in several places, she was mainly based in Edinburgh before moving to the States. Her studio was at WASPS studios, attached to the Patriot Hall Gallery, where she had several exhibitions of her paintings. Along with showing her work, Siri always had an interest in working with groups, firstly as an art therapist, (her PG diploma in art therapy came from Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh) and more recently as an art teacher.

2008 was the year she made the big move to Los Angeles. This drastically new environment continues to have an impact on her art in ways she is still discovering. Since moving to Silver Lake six years ago she has worked and taught classes from her home studio. She has also exhibited her work in various LA venues including Art Share LA and GDCA contemporary arts.
